DOH HQ: Main Entrance & Crisis Management Center
The first Crisis & Management Center of its kind in the Middle East & Africa.
A flagship design-and-build for the regulator of Abu Dhabi's entire healthcare sector, home to a Crisis Management Center that is the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.
The Department of Health regulates every hospital and clinic in Abu Dhabi, and its Al Rawda headquarters needed a gateway to match: a new main entrance building and a Crisis Management Center built to carry the emirate's health emergencies.
The Crisis Management Center at the heart of the project is the first facility of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, and it was inaugurated in person by [H.H. Sheikh, name to be confirmed]. Rows of coordinated operations positions face a continuous wall of live screens beneath the centre's signature circular ceiling.
Delivered as a single design-and-build responsibility, the project combined structure, architecture, MEP, and specialist IT and AV fit-out under one programme, completed in 351 days at a working government headquarters with the owner reviewing every stage.
Design and build of the SEHA new building and extension, including the new Crisis & Management Center, with supply and installation of IT & AV systems.
